The association NIMA social projects in Tibet, with domicile in Zurich, was founded on January 11th, 2000. The associations'target is to assist old and sick Tibetans.
On June 25th, 2009, the general assembly of the association NIMA social projects in Tibet decided together with Lobsang Nima Soghatsang, to transform the association into a foundation.
Lobsang Nima Soghatsang is the manager of the social projects in Ganzi and is not member of the council of the foundation. He disposes of all necessary competences for this activity. He has the right to propose motions to the council and give his advise to all treated matters. Responsible for the association are:
